Evelyn Mateos

Evelyn Mateos is Deputy Editor of Las Vegas Weekly. She most recently served as managing editor for Editor & Publisher, a trade publication focused on the trends of the news media industry. She began her journalism career at Flaunt Magazine, a fashion and culture publication in West Hollywood, where she could not find a decent cup of coffee. Evelyn is a graduate of Cal State University, Fullerton and moved to Las Vegas in early 2021. She loves doodling and enjoys all kinds of music, from Senses Fail to Tyler, the Creator. First and foremost, however, she is a Swiftie.
